Born in 1965 in Glendale, California, Scott McMillin remained in Southern California until he entered California State University Long Beach in 1983 and then completed his studies at California State University Fullerton. Upon earning his BFA in 1989 he moved to Tustin, California where he lives and works to this day. McMillin has exhibited in galleries and sculpture parks across the country. He participated in the acclaimed Navy Pier Walk exhibit, in Chicago, Illinois, for several years and the El Paseo Sculpture Walk in Palm Desert, California. He currently has work placed at Mitchell Museum and Sculpture Park in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and his work is in the permanent collections of the International Sculpture Center, Lowes HIW, Inc., Fleetwood Windows and Doors, and the City of Flossmoor, Illinois as well as numerous private collections.
