Spencer Lewis received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from University of California, Los Angeles. He creates gestural 3-dimensional paintings that are intended to exist as objects in space and engage the physicality of the viewer. He has had solo exhibitions at Edward Cella Art + Architecture, Los Angeles, CA and Hayworth Gallery, Los Angeles, CA.
